Take a chance and cast your line by spinning our Drawing Wheel. Each spin lands on a surprise drawing prompt, inviting you to add a new element, texture, shape, creature, or environment to your artwork.
Just like a day on the water, you never know what you might reel in. As your drawing evolves with each spin, unexpected combinations and curious stories begin to surface. Perhaps a native fish sprouts wheels, a riverbank becomes a floating city, or a fishing lure transforms into an underwater treasure map. It's up to you!
Using the drawing materials provided, respond to the prompts as they appear and let chance guide your creativity. There are no mistakes, only new discoveries.
When you have completed your spins, it's time to reel in your masterpiece. Add your own ideas, details, colours and finishing touches to connect the elements together and make the artwork uniquely yours!
Please note that RAG staff are not responsible for supervision, parent(s)/carer(s) must remain with children while participating. Art activities suitable for all ages.

The local fishmonger, or 'Fisho', is the source of inspiration for artist Jack Rodgers. Photographs of locals with their prized catches provide an entry point to reflect on the connections we establish with our surroundings - whether at familiar fishing spots or, in Rodgers' case, through treasured family pilgrimages to the local fishmonger.
Drawing on this sense of place and nostalgia, Rodgers has created a series of works that explore fishing culture. From catching, selling and eating fish to fishing gear and tackle, the works also extend into the history of Brisbane's fishmongers, including the State Fish Market at South Brisbane.
FISHO celebrates fishing not just as a pastime, but as a shared cultural experience that fosters community. While grounded in Rodgers' personal story, the exhibition speaks more broadly to the universal emotional and nostalgic connections we hold to familiar places and everyday surroundings.
In Visualising the Written Word, the artists of Redland Yurara Art Society Inc. explore the interplay between the visual and the written. Seeking inspiration from a variety of written stimuli, including poetry, song lyrics, personal correspondence and prose, the artists offer fresh, creative responses to their chosen sources.
Beyond illustration, each work offers a glimpse into the psyche of the artist, exploring both their selected written piece and their artistic response. From the deeply personal to the abstract, the breadth of works offered demonstrates the vast possibilities of creativity.
Lights out, let's dance.
No Lights No Lycra is the original dance in the dark movement proven to help people feel better.
No Lights No Lycra Redlands Coast brings the joy of dancing in a safe, friendly, non-judgemental, drug and alcohol-free atmosphere to RPAC.
The lights go out, the tunes crank, and everyone dances like nobody's watching. There's no light, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, no technique, just free movement.
A bit of everything is played, from rock, pop, swing, folk, hip hop, soul, disco, cheesy top 40, and dance floor classics across the decades, the song list varies weekly. Guests can always sit out for a song or step-tap on the spot if anything doesn't take their fancy.
While it is dark, No Lights No Lycra is for dancing on your own, so people dance independently and it's completely non-contact.
No Lights No Lycra ambassadors are spread across every major city in Australia and regional towns, with outposts in cities like Tokyo, Glasgow, Texas, New York, London, and Auckland. Redlanders have been dancing in the dark for a while now.
Lights out, let's dance. There's room for everyone on the dance floor.
