BX After Dark presents The Wandering Table Series.
Be among the first to experience the opening night of the inaugural Wandering Table: Stories After Dark - an immersive dining experience that weaves together exceptional food and wine, rich storytelling, and a deep sense of place.
Designed as an intimate experience, this carefully curated event invites guests to wander through Bathurst's historic heart, uncovering the fascinating hidden stories that have shaped one of Australia's oldest inland cities, whilst dining in some of Bathurst's most celebrated and unique bars and restaurants.
The evening begins at Kings Parade with a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Wiradjuri cultural storytelling, acknowledging the enduring culture and traditions of the Wiradjuri people.
From there, guests will be guided into three intimate groups, each commencing their journey at a different venue: Norma Joan, Firewater or The George. Throughout the evening, each group will experience all three venues, enjoying one course at each while wandering through Bathurst's atmospheric streets and hidden laneways. Along the way, local storytellers will reveal colourful characters, forgotten moments, and intriguing chapters from Bathurst's rich history.
Each course is complemented by a premium beverage from local producers including Bahurst Grange, Winburndale and Vale Creek, with venues transformed into their own unique BX After Dark experience, featuring themed styling and a distinctive atmosphere of light, music, and warm hospitality.

For the first time, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Cowra Regional Art Gallery, and Orange Regional Gallery are sharing the richness of their collections to create three unique exhibitions, each with a different thematic approach: Grounding, Retrospection, and Affinities.
Presenting familiar and unfamiliar works in new contexts, each exhibition sparks fresh conversations, fosters community pride within the Central West, and strengthens cultural tourism across the three destinations.
Grounding: Stories from Three Collections at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery explores the ways in which artists respond to place and the ways in which regional collections reflect the histories and identities of place. Grounding looks at regional, national, and international artists across medium and time who consider the physical, emotional, and cultural significance of place. Importantly, the concept of 'grounding' is deeply embedded in Wiradyuri and First Nations culture through connection to Country.
Wiradyuri Country and its three rivers (Wambuul, Galari, and Marrambidya), rolling hills and expansive skies have inspired and influenced artists for generations. Artists featured include GW Bot, Liam Benson, Grace Cossington Smith, Aunty Lorraine Connelly Northey, Elisabeth Cummings, Olive Cotton, Max Dupain, Rachel Ellis, Danie Mellor, Luke Sciberras, Merrick Fry and Lloyd Rees.
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery presents The Long Way by Sarah Randall in the BRAG Foyer Gallery.
'My work explores the intersections between humanity and the natural world, capturing places of human interference: cleared land, introduced vegetation and built infrastructure. Despite our efforts to shape and control the environment, nature maintains a quiet, persistent resistance.'
Living on Wiradyuri/Wiradjuri Country in Central West NSW, this series draws directly from the familiar landscapes of Orange, Macquarie Woods, Bathurst, Portland, Lewis Ponds, Reid's Flat and Browns Creek, portraying distinctive rural forms unique to our region.
Sarah Randall, based in Orange, NSW, holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Wollongong (2013), a Master of Fine Art (Coursework) from RMIT (2015), and a Graduate Certificate in Art History from the University of Melbourne. She has enriched her artistic journey through local and international residencies. Sarah's paintings are held in both public and private collections across Australia and internationally.

Sydney Philharmonia Choirs celebrates 25 years of its acclaimed young-adult ensemble VOX with World O World, a special anniversary concert.
Founded in 2001, VOX has earned critical acclaim for its fresh, expressive performances. To mark the milestone, conductor Elizabeth Scott, celebrating her own 20-year association with the ensemble, has curated a program that revisits the choir's origins and highlights their distinctive artistic identity.
As a highlight of the program, VOX will perform Jacob Collier's World O World, a striking hymn by the Grammy Award-winning British composer, arranger and vocalist whose genre-defying approach has made him one of the most influential musical voices of his generation.
The anniversary celebration also comes full circle with the return of Australian composer Dan Walker, commissioned to write Archangelo for VOX's inaugural performance in 2001. Twenty-five years later, Walker has created a brand-new work, Persephone as a Whistling Moth, continuing a longstanding commitment to nurturing Australian composition and emerging artistic voices.
Spanning new music from SPC Emerging Composers, alongside works by Australian composers and luminous choral masterworks, the program showcases the rich, contemporary choral sound for which VOX has become renowned.
Blending beloved repertoire, new commissions and the return of VOX alumni, World O World is both a celebration of the ensemble's remarkable legacy and an exciting glimpse into the next chapter of one of Australia's most innovative vocal groups.

Paint Juicy hosts a 1980s and 1990s singalong paint and sip session in Bathurst in the Central West of New South Wales. Guests gather for an evening of guided painting set to 1980s and 1990s music, with a host artist leading the group through a step-by-step canvas while a curated playlist runs through the room. Painters sing along to the bangers, paint at their own pace, and leave with a finished canvas worth keeping.
No painting experience is needed. All materials, including canvas, paints, easel, brushes, and aprons, are supplied. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos, and catch their breath before the next singalong moment. The format suits adults after a more memorable night out than a standard dinner or drinks, and it is a popular pick for hen nights, birthdays, and work groups.
Paint Juicy is a fully mobile paint and sip experience travelling across Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. The brand has hosted more than forty two thousand guests and has won the Best of Queensland Experience award every year since 2022.
