About this event
What to expect
Sunshine Plaza's Riverwalk is set for a Halloween takeover, with a free Trick or Treat Hunt bringing costumes, treats and family entertainment to the waterfront precinct.
Young witches, superheroes, skeletons and tiny monsters will follow a trick-or-treat trail via participating Riverwalk restaurants, filling their buckets as they make their way along the water.
Beyond the hunt, the afternoon delivers a Monster Mash Disco, face painting, balloon twisting and roving costume entertainers, turning Riverwalk into a lively Halloween playground for Sunshine Coast families.
Sunshine Plaza is inviting families to make an afternoon of the occasion, with the waterfront setting providing plenty of reasons to linger once the treat buckets are full. Set along Cornmeal Creek, Riverwalk pairs open-air dining with waterfront views, making the shift from costumes and candy into an early dinner, afternoon snack or drink by the water.
The event continues Sunshine Plaza's focus on creating family-friendly experiences that bring more zest to Riverwalk and its unique waterfront setting.
For the smallest trick-or-treaters, the only real preparation required is a costume and something capable of carrying a respectable haul of treats.
