About this event

What to expect

The multi-award-winning Riverboats Music Festival celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2027, returning to the Murray River on Yorta Yorta country at Echuca-Moama with an outstanding line-up of Australasian talent.

The Riverboats Music Festival keeps things refreshingly simple: one stage beneath the river red gums, no timetable clashes and music lovers enjoying a relaxed weekend.

Friday opens with Milly Strange and Floodlights before Australian rock legends Spiderbait close the night.

Saturday features Fanny Lumsden, Kaitlin Keegan, Ella Thompson, Mulga Bore Hard Rock and Henry Wagons, leading into festival favourites The Cat Empire, returning for the first time since 2014.

Sunday welcomes Nadia Reid, Claire Anne Taylor and The Gnomes, followed by country great Troy Cassar-Daley and a closing set from much-loved folk trio The Waifs. MC Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz) will steer the ship across all three days.

The festival's paddlesteamer sideshows also return aboard the historic PS Pevensey, featuring intimate performances from The Herd, Felix Riebl, Pierce Brothers and more.

Proudly independent, proudly regional and remarkably affordable, Riverboats offers three-day adult tickets, with single-day and kids tickets also available. Book early and don't miss three unforgettable days of great music and laid-back good times by the river.

With accommodation, pubs, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, plus unlimited pass-outs, the Riverboats Music Festival is the perfect country escape.
